Privacy note.
Last updated 28 October 2026
Aigenticle runs aibabbler.com. This note explains what personal data we handle, why, and how you can exercise your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It is for anyone who visits the site or writes in.
Who runs this site
The controller is Aigenticle, a studio umbrella based in London, United Kingdom. aibabbler.com is a site under that umbrella.
Privacy and legal contact: hello@aibabbler.com
What we collect
This is a public film catalogue. There is no account system and no newsletter signup.
We may handle:
- Enquiry and commission emails you send to hello@aibabbler.com: your address, a name if you give one, and whatever you write.
- Technical logs from hosting, such as IP address, browser type, and the URL requested, used to run and secure the site.
- The public pages you choose to visit, including the film catalogue and library.
Links to X and Instagram open those services. We do not add tracking on our side, and we do not claim to control their notices.
Cookies
This site does not set non-essential cookies. There is no marketing pixel and no cookie banner. Hosting may keep short technical logs that are not used to profile you.
Why we use it
We use personal data only where UK law gives us a basis:
- To answer a commission or other enquiry: steps towards a contract, or legitimate interests in running a small studio.
- To operate, secure, and debug the site: legitimate interests.
- To meet a legal duty if one applies, such as tax or a binding request from a competent authority.
We do not sell personal data. Writing in does not put you on a mailing list.
Who else handles it
Aigenticle uses these processors and tools. They only see what they need for their role:
- Vercel: hosting and delivery of the site.
- GitHub: source code and the deploy pipeline.
- Google (Gmail): studio email.
- Hostinger: domain and email.
- Make.com: automations between studio tools.
- Grok Bot and Cursor: AI assistants used inside the studio for admin and notes. They are not a public chatbot on this site.
Some of these organisations are in the United States or other countries. When personal data leaves the UK we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or a UK-recognised adequacy decision such as the Data Privacy Framework, as fits the tool.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry mail: while we are in conversation, then up to two years, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we still need it for a live job.
- If we take a commission: contracts and invoices for as long as UK tax and company law require.
- Hosting logs: a short period set by the host, typically weeks rather than years.
Your rights
You can ask Aigenticle to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, to object to how it is used, or to receive a portable copy where the law gives you that right.
Email hello@aibabbler.com. We aim to reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site is aimed at adults commissioning or watching studio films. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Security
We use reputable hosts and limit who can read studio mail. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure.
Changes
If this note changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top.
